B.S., Mechanical Engineering, M.S., Systems Engineering, J.D., Law

Designed water systems/facilities for Dept. of Water and Power, City of Los Angeles.

Served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in La Paz, Bolivia as Professor of Engineering, University of San Andres.

Took student groups to various parts of Bolivia to do public works, water, mining, and sanitation projects.

Worked as Planner for City Manager, City of Compton. Started many programs, and designed and implemented the Housing Authority.

Worked as Sr. Environmental Planner, Model Cities Program, Community Development Department, Mayor's Office, City of Los Angeles under Yorty and Bradley.

Practiced law in Beverly Hills for 20+ years, specializing in civil litigation. Present practice limited to philanthropic work.

Started a development firm, renovating multifamily properties in South Central Los Angeles.

Taught commodities trading and lectured nationwide. Started a firm for educational resources for stock and futures traders.

Started several Internet businesses, including hosting, programming, and e-commerce.

Started a film company that is producing documentary shorts, and a full-length documentary centered on the urban youth culture of Bolivia.

Founded an organization working to save indigenous languages in danger of extinction in the Americas.

Founded and serve as COO of Water Charity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that does water, sanitation, and public health projects worldwide.

Projects in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Bolivia, and Peru, using appropriate technology, including rainwater harvesting, reservoirs, cisterns, water systems, pumps, wells, filtration, and sanitation.

Initiating domestic water projects focusing on drought conditions in Southern California.
