Twitter released a new feature update that allows you to schedule Tweets via the web based version. Tweetdeck, the standalone app already has this feature but now it’s being integrated into the browser based version.
Twitter notes that this is currently an experimental version. For now, only a small group of random beta testers will gain access to the new scheduling features. However, a wide release of the feature is expected some time in the future but currently there isn’t a specific timeline.
If you would like to schedule a Tweet via the browser based version, you’ll be able to click the 3 dots while writing a Tweet and choose the schedule option.
This new feature will be a major improvement for businesses, or any other person that wants to schedule announcements all at once and forget about it. Unlike some other Twitter features, this one will mostly likely be a welcome addition.
